Would be cool to have a button to disable all functions. I would prefer opt-in for everything. I understand that this is destructive for most users so a confirmation box can be helpful.

New features will always be turned on by default. If you want opt-in you'll have to maintain a local fork.

Our suggestion is to only disable features that break your workflows, rather than minutely deciding whether each enhancement is "worth keeping on."
