I'd like to receive desktop notifications when the "checks" status changes in a tab which is viewing a pull request
Example URL:
https://github.com/Username/repo/pull/1
Note this is different from #296 because this involves watching an element on the page, rather than using github's "Notification" system

It'd have to be on demand, for example by clicking a bell icon by the yellow "in progress" dot. This would also trigger a browser.permission.request
for notifications.

glad I found this issue before opening one of my own
@fregante the on-demand option sounds great, and I'm curious if it would make sense to default to "on" when it's my own PR (the original idea I was going to propose)

Notifications cannot be a default, itβs bad UX

How about opt-in "all PRs by me get notifications"?

Nobody took this for years, it's too much trouble, and the CI detection is not reliable enough. Closing.
