Option to use xdg-open in WSL #269

Hello, it it possible to use the standard linux behaviour in WSL? I have an x server running in windows so I can launch linux apps, and it would be useful if there was an option to do so (or to work it out from the app name).

Happy to make a PR if thats welcome (and this is not already possible).
