How to modify the structure and CSS? #180

I am trying Docute and the example document is rendered correctly. I could not find, however, any documentation regarding:

how to modify the base layout (remove Sidebar for instance, and generally change the buil-in components)
how to modify the CSS (should I just overwrite the styles?)
