I am not sure if if I should be opening the issue here or on the @types project, but it would appear the latest version of @types/color only goes up to 3.0.0, while color is at 4.2.3?

At the same time, would it be worth making the typescript definition part of a future release of color?

@LitoMore has been doing great work upgrading the color-* packages to ESM, and as part of those changes they've been adding type declarations too. So it could be that those will be included in the work they do for #256 as well.
